Glutenfreek is gluten and grain free, either dairy or lactose free, refined sugar free, soy free and preservative free.

We produce a range of freeking delicious cakes, biscuits, and slices lovingly handmade in Brisbane, Queensland.

Our ingredients include insecticide-free almonds, free range eggs, raw local honey, and organic and/or local produce wherever possible.

At 25, my life changed. I learned, after nearly losing my life, that I suffered from Crohn’s Disease. It was the darkest time of my life, as well as the best thing that ever happened to me.

I kept hearing the advice to cut gluten, refined sugar, and lactose from my diet. 

For someone who grew up on Coco Pops, white bread, Nutella and Milo, this advice was difficult to digest. But there’s only so long a girl can be in denial.

I researched and experimented with healthy recipes, until I was able to recreate the normal cakes I loved so much, replacing their harmful ingredients with all natural, nourishing alternatives. It was a revelation to discover that healthy cakes could taste better than normal cakes, and I was so happy.  What I didn't know at the time was that this revelation would soon lead me to make a difference in the lives of others with autoimmune disease or gut issues. My goal back then, which is the same today, was that these people would one day be able to walk into any cafe, see the glutenfreek sign, and relax knowing they had REAL FOOD CHOICES which not only tasted amazing but were nourishing as well. This, in my mind, is true freedom. I hope you'll join me...
